Competition Categories
Each pageant consists of 2 required stage competitions: Theme Wear and Formal Wear.
But besides those portions, we also have EXTRA areas of competition, called “Optionals”. There are 2 types of Optionals: Photo and Stage.
Photo Optionals are extra categories that have you submit photos for competition before the pageant. Most Photo optionals have a theme/guideline to follow. You can take these photos with your phone or even have a professional do them, it’s up to you. Be sure to read the theme/guideline for each optional, so you know the best kind of photos to submit. The winners of photo optionals will appear in our full color magazine pageant program and receive an additional reward.
*After signing up for the pageant, you will have an opportunity to submit photos for any Photo Optionals you’ve entered.
Stage Optionals are extra categories that contestants are scored on, during their on-stage Theme Wear and Formal Wear performances. Stage Optional winners will receive an additional award.

2 lucky contestants will be featured on the cover or back cover of all our program books on pageant day!

Show off your all-American charm, summer spirit, and one-of-a-kind personality!
Whether it’s a flag-themed outfit, star-spangled sun dresses, or just a huge red, white, and blue smile—this optional is all about celebrating what makes YOU shine!
Props, backgrounds, accessories, and creativity are encouraged—just make sure it screams YOU… and USA! 🇺🇸✨

Theme: Stars, Stripes & Summertime
Whether it’s your outfit, the background, props, or all three—get creative and show off your patriotic sparkle! Include the American Flag, fireworks, beach towels, bows, sunnies—anything that screams USA summer magic is fair game!

Centerfold
Centerfold submissions should be a full body shot portrait of the contestant in a American themed outfit or a formal dress. *There is no other requirement for this photo.
Winners will appear in centerfold of the pageant program.

Best Theme Wear
The best outfit in each age group during the "Theme Wear" portion of the pageant will win this award.
Best Dressed
The best outfit in each age group during the "Formal Wear" portion of the pageant will win this award.
Cutest Stage Personality
The contestant, who showcases the "Cutest Personality" in their age group on stage, will win this award.
Best Hair
The contestant with the "Best Hair" styles in their age group will win this award.
Best Smile
The contestant that has the best smile on stage in their age group will win this award.
Directors Choice
Picked by the pageant director, whose looking for the contestant that showed friendship, encouragement, improvement or had lots of fun on stage.
Can a contestant win multiple optionals? Yes, you have a chance to win every optional you enter. No matter how many other optionals you may or may not have won.

Theme Wear Guidelines: American Summer Style
✨ Outfit Requirements:
Let your style shine with a summer-inspired outfit that celebrates sunshine, fun, and Americana flair!
Please note: Bikinis and bare midriffs are not allowed. Keep it cute, classy, and confident!
🎨 Color Guidelines:
All colors are welcome in this portion of the competition—feel free to get bold, bright, and creative!
🎈 Props:
Props that match your outfit or theme are welcome, but must be handheld and manageable by the contestant while on stage.
💫 Accessories:
Amp up your look with fun extras like necklaces, bracelets, hats, bows, flowers and more—express your personal flair and bring the summer sparkle!
2nd Outfit: Formal Wear Guidelines
✨ Outfit Requirements:
Contestants should wear a dress of any length, as long as it remains modest and age-appropriate.
For dresses above the knee: tights, nylons, or leggings are required. Failure to follow this guideline may result in a deduction of points.
🎨 Color Guidelines:
Dresses must be Red, White, Blue, or a combination of those patriotic colors.
🚫 Important Notes:
- Cupcake-style dresses (heavily layered pageant gowns) are not permitted.
- This is an All Natural, No Makeup pageant—makeup of any kind is not allowed.
💫 Accessories:
Feel free to enhance your look with necklaces, bracelets, hats, bows, wigs, ties, flowers, and more—accessories are welcome as long as they complement your patriotic look!

This is a full color, Magazine like booklet with photos and information for each contestant that will be in the pageant on pageant day. These make amazing keepsakes and souvenirs. They usually sell out on pageant day so pre-order yours!
